Surgery Re-cap

Today was Elvis' surgery and everything went really well except for the fact that we went to the complete wrong place at first and sat in an empty, dark building from 6AM until about 6:20AM when we finally thought to ourselves we should probably check the paper work to see if we were in the right place and we weren't. Luckily the place we needed to be was just across the street. Needless to say I got yelled at...I think someone was a little stressed and nervous! That's okay...I still love you honey. Anyway, he was sooooo good and all the nurses and doctors loved him to pieces. He reacted really well to everything. No allergic reactions. In fact, when he woke up from surgery the anesthesia didn't even bother him. They wheeled him out and he was all smiles. No crying or anything. The doctor did tell us that normal adenoids are about 3 millimeters in thickness and Elvis' were 2 centimeters! Poor baby, no wonder he was sick all the time.
