1728 Mercer Way, Savannah TX

We're totally putting a bid on this house!

Outside Fun!

Goodbye daycare and goodbye germs!

So after much thought and consideration we have decided to take Elvis out of daycare. I understand that when you put a very young child in daycare during the winter time...they're gonna get sick but unfortunately at the time we didn't have a choice. He's been going there for 5 weeks now and EVERY single week I've had to either call in, take a half day, or be late because he's contstantly sick. My job was starting to be at risk and not to mention we've spent a total of $890 in 5 weeks...now add another $383.85 for medical expenses. That's a total of $1273.85 in 5 weeks for just one child! Ugh...I do NOT recommend daycare to anyone and really, it doesn't matter how clean it is because I was sooooo impressed with this daycare and the cleanliness and how attentive the teachers were...doesn't matter. Bottom line - as long as your child is in daycare - they're going to get sick constantly.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S MY SWEET, SWEET LUV!

Okay, so I know it's not Valentine's yet, but I have have to post this now because depending on the weather I might not be at work tomorrow and I don't use the computer anywhere but work; I'm on a computer everyday for 8 hours a day so when I leave work I leave the computer there!

Anyway, I want to dedicate this post and song to my wonderful, loving, patient, kind, sexy, understanding, cuddly, heatwarming, caring, amazing, handsome husband! I love this song. I think it's so beautiful and it totally fits us for when we first met and fell in love. I always tell Lindsey he's my guardian angel because I was in a pretty dark place when we first met and he saved me! So this is for you honey...I love you...endless kisses...(turn your sound on)

Remember those walls I built
Well, baby they're tumbling down
And they didn't even put up a fight
They didn't even make a sound

I found a way to let you in
But I never really had a doubt
Standing in the light of your halo
I got my angel now

It's like I've been awakened
Every rule I had you breakin'
It's the risk that I'm takin'
I ain't never gonna shut you out

Everywhere I'm looking now
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see you halo
You know you're my saving grace

You're everything I need and more
It's written all over your face
Baby I can feel your halo
Pray it won't fade away

I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo
I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo

Hit me like a ray of sun
Burning through my darkest night
You're the only one that I want
Think I'm addicted to your light

I swore I'd never fall again
But this don't even feel like falling
Gravity can't forget
To pull me back to the ground again

Feels like I've been awakened
Every rule I had you breakin'
The risk that I'm takin'
I'm never gonna shut you out

Everywhere I'm looking now
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo
You know you're my saving grace

You're everything I need and more
It's written all over your face
Baby I can feel your halo
Pray it won't fade away

I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo
I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo

I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo
I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo
Halo, halo

Everywhere I'm looking now
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo
You know you're my saving grace

You're everything I need and more
It's written all over your face
Baby I can see your halo
Pray it won't fade away

I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo
I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo

I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo
I can feel your halo halo halo
I can see your halo halo halo

Cold Feet

Everynight before I go to bed I get everything ready for the next day. I make bottles, I get my coffee ready, I get lunches packed, I get breakfast in order and planned, and last but not least I set out everyone's clothes next to their beds (including their shoes and jackets). So this morning we all wake up and I look down at Kennedy she's sleeping soundly all bundled up, but I had to do a double take because I noticed something different about her feet. They were sticking out from under her blanket and she had her shoes on that I had set out for her. Once I woke her up I asked her why she had her shoes on and she told me that she had gotten up to go to the bathroom and that her feet were cold when she woke up so she put her shoes on. So here's some pics as evidence...too funny...enjoy!

My Little Cowgirl

Kennedy absolutely LOVES to play dressup, especially in her Aunt Shelby's shoes! So the other day she drug the Cowboy boots out and she had this little dress on and she just looked so freaking cute. So here's some pics...enjoy! Oh, and the one where she has her dress lifted all the way up...I told her to lift her dress up so I could see her boots and that was the end result! Lol! And Kinglsey's diaper butt is in a few of the pics because he's a little ham...everytime he sees a camera he wants his picture taken too!

Weightloss

I don't keep a daily journal or anything nor do I really keep track of what I eat or my workouts, but for the most part I try to get in as much physical activity as I can and I try to eat right too (on the weekends I totally cheat though). But I've managed to loose a total of 30+lbs...postpartum and I'm down to a size 10! My ultimate goal is to be down to at least 145 or a size 7/8 by end of June. Right now I fluctutate between 160-164...but I don't think that's too bad considering I'm almost 5'8". I really want to hit those 150's though! I'm almost there! I can see it! I did my BMI recently and it said I was only slightly overweight, so that made me happy! I don't put a lot of pressure on myself and I think that's really worked out for me! If I reach my goal...this will be the first time in almost 4 or 5 years that I might consider doing a bikini this summer! Yikes!

Possible 1st Time Home Buyers

Okay, so as of this past weekend Lindsey and I got a wild hair up our butt and we've decided that we might possibly purchase our 1st home this summer since they've extended the tax credit. Well, that's not the only reason, but that's a HUGE incentive. At this point it's just a thought, we don't even know if we would qualify. But we're def getting our ducks in a row. This week Lindsey has an interview for a promotion at work...if he gets it we're def going to start the process. Just thinking about owning my own home is so freaking exciting. Growing up, I've always lived in apartments and of course living on my own I lived in apartments as well. So I'm ready to settle down and stay there! And get a puppy! Lol! We're thinking the McKinney, Frisco, Allen, & Plano area because Kennedy will be attending Ogle Elementary (in 1 more year...OMG...I'm going to cry) in McKinney close to Stacy Rd & Custer...so I would like to be with in 5-10-15 miles of her school. So if anyone has any advice for a first time home buyer, please pass it this way!
