Thanksgiving

Unfortunately... I don't have any cutsie, little, funny Thanksgiving family pictures to post. Our Thanksgiving wasn't so thankful this year. For the first time ever I didn't get to see my Dad on Thanksgiving b/c he went to Georgia to visit my step-sister; her and family just recently moved there. Anyway, we were supposed to have a big Thanksgiving dinner for Lindsey's Mom's side of the family at our house and we've been getting the house ready for weeks...but it was cancelled due to sickness, death, etc. His step-grandfather had a massive heart-attack and passed away yesterday. His grandmother passed away on Thanksgiving Day. And not to mention there were other misc. things that happened...like Lindsey trying to sabotage my dish that I made b/c it had mushrooms in it by pouring a whole thing of salt in it. I admit, I probably overreacted about the whole thing, but I think everyone was a little stressed and upset that day. However, we did manage to make it out to my Aunt's to see my Mom's side of the family, but that was a disaster as well. The baby cried the entire time and wouldn't let anyone hold him which enabled me to not get to socialize w/my out-of-town relatives b/c the only thing that would keep him calm was sitting in the playroom that my aunt made for her grandson with no one else in there but me and him and of course Lindsey was outside in the garage getting wasted w/the boys and I had to handle all of this by myself. He eventually came in at the very end and helped, but that was when we were leaving of course...too late. And then on the way home we got pulled over for not having a front liscense plate, which is bs. Lindsey was freaking out that I was going to go to jail b/c of my warrants and he was drunk and couldn't drive and we had the baby and blah blah blah. But the cop just gave us a warning and let us go...thank goodness. And well, it doesn't stop there. We got home and Lindsey and I got into a huge arguement b/c when he drinks he likes to smoke and of course he had been drinking so he wanted a cigarette and I wouldn't let him smoke. So apparently I'm a control freak and he's a man and he can do whatever he wants especially when it comes to manly stuff and he should be allowed to smoke a cigarette if he wants to...blah blah blah. Shut up. Seriously. Your grandmother died today of lung cance... really, you want a cigarette? So that was our Thanksgiving. Hope y'alls was better!
