Weekend Rewind

Wow! I had entirely too much crap to do this weekend and I think I got it all taken care off...can't believe it. I took off on Friday...again. I love having Friday's off! :) Anyway, on Friday alone...I got my license renewed, my car registration done, my oil changed, Lindsey got his hair cut, we went up to Central Yamaha to get some part for his bike, Lindsey cancelled his tanning membership to get a gym membership (can't have both!), we drove all the way out to Royse City to pick up some knee braces, and I think that's about it. Oh, and while the oil was being changed I went shopping for curtains and blinds to replace all the window coverings that Elvis destroyed and we put those up on Friday too. And then on Saturday the boys went riding as usual and I cleaned and did some online shopping. Ooh and I watched Black Swan that morning...crazy weird movie. I really like it though! That evening I ventured out to Ikea and Target and who knows where else to do MORE shopping. Side note: We live directly across the street from Stonebriar Mall and it's dangerous! So after even more shopping I had a Mary kay party that evening that my Mom and sister and her friend Maddy and my Cousin Candice attended and we all ate entirely too many sweets and had make-overs. Fun! And then after everyone left E and Lindsey and I went for a nice night walk...it was soooo nice outside and then we went and got some Taco Bueno and I had been craving chips and hot sauce all day and they totally forgot my chips w/my order, needless to say I was disappointed so to make up I got nachos from Taco Cabana Sunday night! Sunday was a lazy day...got Kennedy back and just kind of ran errands and hung out at the house and took the kids to the park. So lots of shopping and errand running this weekend. I'm totally ready to chill out this week!

April Fools

So did anyone do any really good April Fools jokes on anyone??? I had a really good one planned for Lindsey, but then I had too much wine the night before and blurted it out. I took that Friday off and I hadn't told him and I was going to let him wake up first in the morning and freak out that I was still in bed and late. My work is a super strict on punctuality...I can NOT be a single minute late. So he would've totally freaked. But anyway, just saw this on CNN and thought it was freaking HILL-LAIR-REE-US!!!

Unfortunately, I don't have an Ipod because I hate technology. So I'm just going to list my top 2 favorite songs that "if" I had an Ipod these would be my top 2!

1. There would definitely be some Gwen Stefani/No Doubt on my Ipod. For those of you that don't know me...I'm a *HUGE* Gwen fan; have been since I can remember! I even have a L.A.M.B. tattoo. I think her L.A.M.B. line is genius. I love the fact that she's incorporated all the important elements of her life into her work: Love, Angels, Music, & Babies!

2. I would also have to pay tribute to the 1st CD I ever bought: Warren G. "Regulate...G Funk Era." So there would definitely be some Warren G. Regulate featuring Nate Dogg on my Ipod.

Weekend Rewind

This past weekend was jammed packed as usual and to top it off it was "Supercross" weekend. So Friday we spent ALL day running errands getting ready for Supercross. Bought this shirt to wear:
Then that night we went up to Central Yamaha b/c the Yamaha racing team was going to be there signing autographs. After the autograph session we came back to our house and cooked some delicious steaks w/Lindsey's fam. Saturday we got up early and I went and tanned and got my mani and pedi on... Got "Monster Energy" green! Lol! (They're the Supercross sponsor).

And since Lindsey's a die hard Motocross fan of course we had to get there as soon as the gates opened to watch practice, watch all the qualifying races, and go to the pits where all the riders are stationed. As you can see in the above pic all the seats are empty; that was the case most of the day. We got there around noon and the actual event didn't start until 7PM!!! To make matters worse...I lost my ticket stub almost immediately so we had to stay inside the stadium ALL day; couldn't go to the pits to meet the riders or anything. :( But I had never been to new stadium before so it was kind of cool to be there all day and check it out. The day actually went by pretty fast and before we knew the main event was over! It was actually a really good race...I was on the edge of my seat the entire time totally getting into it and yelling and screaming! It was fun! We didn't do much on Sunday. Just went and picked up the kids and I cleaned house while Lindsey went to work. Oh and Kennedy lost her 1st tooth on Sunday!
