My Angel...
Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born. One day he asked God:
“They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?”“From among the many angels, I chose one for you. She will be waiting for you and will take care of you.”
“But here in heaven I don’t do anything but sing and smile, and that’s enough for me to be happy.”“Your angel will sing for you and smile for you every day and you will feel your angel’s love and be happy.”
“And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don’t know the language that people talk?”“Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet sounds words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.”
“And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?”“Your angel will place your hands together and teach you how to pray.”
“I’ve heard that on earth there are bad men. Who will protect me?”“Your angel will protect you even if it means risking her life.”
“But I will be sad because I won’t see you anymore.”“Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you the way to come back to me, even though I will always be next to you.”
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from the earth could be heard, and the child, in a hurry, asked softly, “Oh God, if I am about to leave now, please tell me my angel’s name.”
“You will call her Mommy.”

This week...
has been absolutely wonderful (minus the fact that I haven't seen Kennedy all week) so far! The weather has been so freaking awesome, especially in the mornings! It's so crisp and cold! I love Fall and w/Fall comes The Fair and Halloween and Thanksgiving...Oh, I'm so excited! And of course all the new seasons of all my shows started this week as well! House! Grey's Anatomy! And Lindsey and I got to go have some adult time at my company party on Tuesday and we had a blast as you can see from the pics below! Lol! Looking forward to the next few days...getting Kennedy back Saturday (Yay!), Lindsey's Aunt from California is coming into town and I get to meet her husband Kent and they get to meet Elvis for the 1st time, my cousin Candice is coming into town from Tech and hopefully I'll get to see her, Saturday I'm going to Lee Harvey's w/Kitty Cat and April to have some "Girl Time" and believe me I need it, and also on Saturday we're driving down to Lindsey's Grandpa's...I haven't met him yet, so I'm excited! And Friday is payday, thank goodness! It's such a relief to get a paycheck and not have it all gone immediately! Lindsey and I are finally getting back on track (financially) and it's so wonderful! I feel like this huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders! Oh, and for those of you that don't know...Lindsey has decided to go back to school and we're all so excited and proud of him. He's majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in History b/c he wasnts to be a History teacher and coach HS football. He's starting out at Eastfield b/c they have a really good teaching program there and eventually he'll transfer to UNT and he's even thought about trying out for football at UNT!
